Vancouver Facial Services

Facials are an excellent skin care regimen and you should typically go for a facial every season, just like you go to the dentist every so often!

A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated skin.

It is important for every skin type to get facials.  Oilier skins need to come regularly for deep-pore cleansing and re-balancing, and dry skins need to keep their skin well protected and nourished as they have less of a barrier of oil to protect the skin from dehydration and pre-mature aging.

Sensitive skins should be treated to help reduce reactivity of the skin, as well as calming irritations and redness.  Hydration is key to help treat all skin types and conditions, and is the number one way to prevent pre-mature aging along with daily UV protection.  Sunscreen should be worn 365 days a year for ultimate prevention.  UV rays are still powerful and prominent during winter months as well, so don’t skip out on sun protection!

The clinical treatments that Jo’s Toes provides are most effective when done once a week for 4 consecutive weeks, and then one every 4-6 weeks for maintenance.  Not only will it improve the overall health of your skin, you will see visible results after just one treatment, which will continue to improve over time.  All clinical facials are intensive hydrating treatments that provide lasting results.

Types of Facial Services Offered

Deep Pore Cleansing - Deep pore cleansing is removing the dirt and debris that have collected in the pores, allowing the pores to breathe.  Acne forms when this dirt continues to collect which is important to keep clean and hydrated.  $80

Algofacial - Algofacials are a great treatment for acne, rosacea, or any skin that is sensitive.  The algae is calming, cooling and diffuses redness, while hydrating and repairing skin tissue.  $100

Botinol - GM Collin’s signature clinical treatment is called Botinol. This is the same facial that has been done on all of the Oscar nominees for the past 5 years in a row.

The key ingredients are Peptides (amino acids) and Retinol (Vitamin A) which produce a Botox-like effect, without injections. They also help the skin produce more collagen and elastin (which deteriorates as we age), redensify the skin, repair damage that has been done in the past and present, and visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and expression lines.

The result is smooth skin texture that is radiant and glowing!  $140

Hydrolifting - provides exceptional hydration while helping to tone and tighten the skin.  $110

Collagen 90-II - (Contains Animal by-products)- uses bovine (from calfskin), or native collagen (same type used in hospitals on burn victims), as it is formulated to penetrate the epidermis into the dermis to provide a plumping effect on the skin.  This is the only type of collagen to actually penetrate the skin because it is the closest in molecular structure to our own collagen.  This is a great treatment for pre and post facial surgeries, or for mature skin with deep dehydration.  $125

Sea C Spa - Sea C Spa is a facial full of anti-oxidants.  A serum is applied containing a powder form of L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), which is mixed at the time of treatment, so the Vitamin C is 100% active to achieve optimal results.  This is an excellent treatment for sun-worshippers or those who are active outdoors, smokers or skin that just needs a pick-me-up. $115

Pure Acne Oxygen - This revolutionary oxygenating acne treatment is designed to clear skin congestion, control acne and revitalize fatigued, stressed and dull skin.
The 5-step treatment is formulated with BHA (2% Salicylic Acid), AHAs (15% Glycolic & Lactic Acids), a unique Oxygen Complex, Patented Anti-microbial Peptides and Probiotic* Actives.

It treats and prevents acne, boosts the skin’s natural defenses, reinforces skin’s natural defenses, revitalizes, matifies, balances and hydrates skin in depth, giving it back its natural radiance and glow. The skin becomes luminous, moisture balanced and younger looking.

To obtain maximum efficiency, one treatment per week is recommended for five consecutive weeks.  $90
